I think the worst was when I lied to my parents about sleeping over at a friends’ house, implying that her parents were home when they weren’t…of course they found out the first night and I was grounded for quite some time

Let’s just say it was one hell of a girls’ night!
What’s one thing a guy can do to impress you above the rest?
Don’t try too hard, just be yourself. So many guys think that smothering a girl with gifts and compliments is the way to her heart. Be different, make a home-cooked meal and spend the night chatting with the TV off.
Describe a perfect first date.
As mentioned a home-cooked meal is always impressive and says that you have put some thinking and preparation into the night. That, topped with a glass of wine and chocolate fondue for desert.
What makes you sexy?
I believe self-confidence can make a major difference in a woman’s sex-appeal. If she looks after herself well by training, grooming and having a (mostly) healthy diet, she’ll feel good in her own skin.
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Defrosted toes and ice-cream!
Which local bands or music acts do you love?
I love Goldfish, they are so talented and really world-class – I couldn’t believe they were local when I heard their music for the first time.
What’s the biggest misconception about modelling and being a beautiful woman?
That they all have egos and are rude. Trust me, if there is a semi-good looking girl in a room, every single guy will try his luck, so when a pretty girl doesn’t pay attention to you or just walks off when you make a comment – remember: it is most probably in self-defence because as soon as she gives a friendly smile or says ‘thank you’, the majority of guys will think this is time to go in for the kill and will hound her the rest of the night. She’s not a piece of meat. If you want her attention, try to stimulate her intellectually.
Have you used your looks to get what you want sometimes?
I will never flirt or flaunt to get what I want. It’s like getting a sympathy win. I want to know I got it right by kicking the other person’s ass! He-he!
What’s your favourite holiday season in the year?
Definitely summer! December holidays in Cape Town or the Drakensberg are the best!
What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on?
I was privileged enough to have done a two week Europe and UK tour complete with a view from the top of the Eiffel tower on my birthday and a whole day spent in Disneyland. It was amazing!
How do you relax?
By going to a hectic dance class or being a lazy bum on the couch eating Woolies chocolate mousse. Sometimes both.
What’s your recipe for happiness and success?
Create your own happiness. Life can get very tough at times and no-one can make you truly happy but yourself. Get your mind-set right, allow yourself to cry but make sure you get up, learn from your mistakes and come back with a bang!

A soft kiss on the back of my neck, my knees go weak instantly.
