Since its announcement we have been waiting, with huge anticipation, for the release of Monster Energy Supercross The Official Videogame. Finally it is here and we have been ripping laps and banging bars against the world’s best, in a non-stop binge of supercross radness.
When starting up the game, expect to be thrown straight into the deep end. There is no opportunity to get your bearings of the controls with any type of practicing. You begin playing as one of the sport’s greatest, Ryan Dungey, in a race that you will most likely finish at the back of the pack and with Dungey disappointed in his performance.

There is no guide or how-to tutorial to help you get into the game, however once you get the hang of it the game becomes a lot more fun and super addictive. It is visually and technically awesome!
Play options include Single Player, Time Attack, Career and Championship categories, and Online Multiplayer. We love the customisation side of the game where you can customise your rider with licensed gear and include your number and name on the jersey, just like the pros. The bike customisation is just as cool with options from the colour of your bike’s accessories to purchasing and upgrading with factory parts.

Remember the good old days of “Excite Bike” and how we would spend hours creating epic tracks to race on? Well, this feature is back in Monster Energy Supercross – Track Editor and allows you to spend hours creating tracks to your hearts desire. Create, customize, race and share your tracks online.

Highlight features include:
-New 3D Scanning System: extra detailed renders of rider’s facial features.
-Photogrammetric System: authentic reproduction of the stadiums.
-Photorealistic Graphics, Pyrotechnical Effects and Cut-Scenes.
-Accurate Reproduction of bikes, tracks and accessories.
-Official venues, official tracks and official riders from the 250SX and 450SX classes
All-in-all, we can hardly fault this game and highly recommend you get yourself a copy. Get ready to take part in the most competitive and high profile off-read racing championship in the world – Monster Energy Supercross.
