The pressure was real, the stakes were high, and the energy inside the Bellville Velodrome reached fever pitch as Team Silver emerged victorious at the inaugural Red Bull Locked In – a high-intensity LAN experience that pushed South African gamers to their absolute limits.


Held from 6–8 March 2026, Red Bull Locked In brought together some of the country’s most passionate gamers for a 48-hour endurance test that blended competitive Apex Legends gameplay with real-life challenges, knockout mechanics, and multiple game modes. The result was a thrilling spectacle where every move mattered and survival was never guaranteed.
Under the leadership of team captain Collins “It’z Skarrra”, Team Silver navigated the relentless format with skill, strategy, and resilience to ultimately claim the 2026 championship title.

Red Bull Locked In introduced a unique competitive format to South Africa’s LAN gaming landscape, with teams battling across Battle Royale, Wildcard, and Mixtape modes while navigating unexpected twists that could eliminate, or revive, them throughout the competition.
The event also celebrated the vibrant community that fuels the gaming culture. With spectators, creators, and players all sharing the same space, the weekend captured the spirit of classic LAN gatherings while elevating it with the high-energy Red Bull twist.


Adding to the experience, NAG Magazine, the official media partner, was on the ground throughout the event documenting the action, the personalities, and the unforgettable moments that unfolded across the weekend.
