Give us some background to who Sylvia is and how she has got to where she is today?
I’m a small town girl with an adventurous spirit. I left for the UK after school to explore and really find myself. I absolutely loved London, although the weather wasn’t like home. I was always passionate about beauty, body and make-up so I completed my studies as a Aesthetician and built my experience in the industry. When I moved back to South Africa JHB became my work place and fitness my new hobby. As I realised my potential and enjoyment of the fitness industry I went on to complete my studies in exercise science and nutrition. Currently, I live out my passion by helping others achieve their fitness/ aesthetic goals.
How did you get into the modelling scene and what do you hope to achieve from it?
I started out by doing part time catwalk modelling in London, I always enjoyed the stage. Being passionate about fitness and competing as a bikini athlete took me to a whole other level. Physically and emotionally. I’m not just doing it for my sense of self achievement but I hope to encourage and motivate others to dream big and make it happen.
We have to say that your legs are amazing. What is your secret to keeping them looking so damn fine?
Well, thank you. Legs are my favourite work out. I always look forward to a leg session at least twice a week.

How often do you work out and what day do you look forward to most in your training regime?
I workout 6 days a week, prefer morning workouts. 1 Rest day. I enjoy weight training more, cardio can get a bit boring for me. A combination is best.
What does an average week in the life of Sylvia consist of?
My typical day: wake up at 4:15, have my first black coffee and BSN SA pre-workout, then gym time- the best time of my day! After gym I’m off to work. Love my job. Over weekends I enjoy chilling with friends and family.
What type of guys grabs your attention?
Well groomed, fit physique and beautiful eyes with a sense of humour, that’s me sold.
They say certain drinks or food are guaranteed panty droppers? What are your thoughts on this and what type of drinks or food have this effect on you?
Drinks or food might not get my panties to drop, it will however put me in a fun mood.
Have you found what does it for men?
No idea..they keep me guessing.
What’s your take on the whole Oscar Pistorius Trail?
It’s sad for both sides of the two families. But justice, whatever the outcome may be, must take its course.
Winter is fast approaching, what are your pro’s and con’s of the cold season?
Oooo, I just love the winter fashion – boots, bags and coats but I’m definitely someone for hot summer weather. Let’s hope winter is short this year.
