This week we get to feature a tattooed beauty which is something that is unfortunately scarce in South Africa. Meet Nadine Lee, our LW Babe of the Week. This gorgeous blonde sees a satisfying pain under the needle and would like to be seen as the girl next door even though most disagree and say she is more of the naught type – we don’t see any problem with that. It’s not often we get to feature a gorgeous tattooed model here on LW. Tell us about your tattoos and which lucky artist gets to use his talent on your skin?
To me the peacock , represents protection. I went with this design as it has a beautiful meaning and the colors are very powerful. It’s just a complete “bundle of joy”. Although it has plenty of meaning, I think it’s just SO pretty. My artist is Tattoo Tony.
South Africa is still yet to see females with bigger works of art on their bodies except for a select few. Why do you think this is?
I think females are way too concerned about what people might think of them.. I do however think that we are slowly moving towards a more “tattoo accepting society”.
Why do you think so many models are scared of tattooing their bodies?
One of three things:
- Too scared what mom and dad will say.
- Worried about what people will think.
- And worried about what it will look like when they’re old, haha.
Are you looking to get more work done? If so where and what?
For sure.. I’d love to have a rib piece, have my feet done and maybe something on my leg.
How would you explain the getting tattooed experience?
It’s an irritating pain, yet very satisfying.. It’s a brilliant ‘silent’ anger outlet 😉 It feels great to have some extra colour on the skin!
What has been the most painful spot to get tattooed?
Inner arm, elbow area and ANY bony area.
What the worst question you get asked about you tattoos?
“Aren’t you worried about what it will look like when you are old one day?”
How did you get into modelling and what do you enjoy about being in front of the camera?
I’ve always wanted to model, so about 5 months ago I thought to myself. It’s now or never.. I love turning into someone else for a day!
Would you consider yourself the girl next door type or more of the naughty type?
Although I’d love to be seen as the ‘Girl Next Door’, most say I’m more the naughty type, lol.
What do you look for in a guy?
Someone that dresses well, a kind person with a hint of cheekiness, “NO SARCASM WELCOME” haha
What is your ultimate turn on?
Tattoos!
Tell us something about Nadine that most people don’t know?
I’m a mom of two boys.
What does your iPod playlist consist of?
Anything Commercial!
Scary movies or comedy?
Scary movies! Even though I close my eyes in most parts .

A hockey stick (for the baddies).
