I’m a little stubborn at times, but I’m generally an easy going and down to earth person. I’m lighthearted and have a good sense of humour. I’m not bothered by much unless it’s personal.

What motivates you?
I’m a perfectionist and I strive in my everyday life to get the satisfaction of being one step ahead than I was yesterday.

Now that winter is over, what are you looking forward to most this summer?
Getting married, furnishing our newly built home and having cocktails all day everyday on our next holiday!

How would you compare High-school Kayla to current Kayla?
I have definitely come out of my shell for one. I don’t take criticism to heart and I’m a lot more straightforward.

What advice would you give to your 16-year-old self?
To not worry what others think, what matters now won’t matter in the years to come, and that my mom is 99% right.

They say you learn something new everyday. Do you have something you could teach/ tell us that we’d most likely not already know?
People who use more swear words tend to be more honest and trustworthy.

What do you like to do with your free time?
If I’m not sleeping, I like to spend time with friends and family or Pintersting!

Take us through a day in the life of Kayla?
I don’t have a set routine, so everyday is different, but generally I’m up and out the house visiting my service providers and attending to errands. I go to gym after work and then currently sorting out wedding and house plans. To end the day off, I watch a ton of crime series.

What is your favorite colour, and how would you best explain to someone that is blind?
Rose gold. It’s delicate and diva and White. Clean and crisp or the complete opposite of what they see.

What type of guy do you find yourself attracted to?
Someone who is far from arrogant and dis-respectful because there’s nothing charming about being nasty. Loyalty, ambition, has a heart of gold and sense of humour.

What does your ultimate fantasy consist of?
I’m keeping it as a fantasy!
