She’s drop-dead hot and we’re excited to have Claudette Roux back as our LW Babe of the Week. We catch up to chat life, dealing with lockdown, and more… Enjoy.

Full name: Claudette Roux
Nickname: Clauds
Age: 29
Hometown: Johannesburg
Day job: Personal Trainer
Likes: Food, perfume and shoes
Dislikes: Dishonesty, negative and fake people
Special talents: Studying. I’ve done my hairdressing, make-up artistry, special effects for film and personal training degrees, and I’m not done just yet

How would you best describe yourself to our readers?
True, quirky, loud and passionate.
What’s been going in in the life of Claudette since we last featured you?
Hmm, a lot actually. Feels like I’m a completely different person. But that’s expectable. As humans we evolve and grow when we work towards goals and push to succeed. I’m not even the same person I was yesterday [laughs].
Having worked with us on a few occasions, what do you like most about LW Mag and being featured again?
The professionalism and the exposure.

What does a day in your outside, non-lockdown, life usually consist of?
Work work and more work [laughs]. I’m either eating, working, sleeping or spending time with my fam, and of course a social event here and there.
What does a day in your lockdown life now usually consist of?
Cooking, spring cleaning, Netflix binging, creating ebooks, and I’m busy with some fun future secret projects.
What have you found to be some of the best ways to pass the time and deal with isolation?
Online business has been a saver. I’ve cleaned, arranged and organised things I’ve been putting off for ages. And, pampered myself here and there.

Theres no denying that your body is a 10/10. How much time and dedication to you put into yourself?
Honestly. Right now I’ve been slacking a lot, seeing as shows have been cancelled and I’ve been through a rough patch. But usually I train and eat well 5 to 6 days a week, with one day off to recover and binge.
Which part of you body do you enjoy flaunting the most and why?
My stomach, it shows my dedication to eating what my body wants and needs.
My shoulders, because I work tirelessly to grow and shape them.
What have been some of your highlight life achievements thus far?
Winning South African champs and receiving my invitation to represent SA at the World Championships in the UK, which has unfortunately been cancelled due to Covid-19.

What advice would you give your 16 year old self?
Stop caring what others think! Don’t make any life changing decisions till you close to the age of 30.
What is your idea of sex appeal?
Exquisite smell, confidence, well spoken, gentleman.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I am double jointed in my shoulders so I can dislocate them, and it’s quite a sight [laughs].

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:
Ambition? Success.
Addiction? Fitness.
Turn on? Cologne.
Turn off? Cheat.
Pet peeve? Fake people.
Good times? Family.
