It’s not often you get a trio of gorgeous South African babes in one room, at a party, and posing for the camera. LW Mag together with Minx Lounge made this a reality at our recent Live Lingerie Shoot party.
Party goers got the opportunity to experience the behind the scenes on one of our LW Babe photoshoots with the sexy trio of Cath C, Nadine Wilken and Michelle Longman. The result? An insanely hot photo set and a cool interview with the models! All right here for you to enjoy:
What are your thoughts on our Live Model Shoot party idea?
Cath C: I thought it was a wicked idea! It gave people a chance to see photoshoots behind the scenes.
Nadine: Fab idea, well organized, met great people and had a jol!
Michelle: It was definitely a different approach to the ordinary studio shoot. I believe it was an incredible opportunity for aspiring models, as well as photographers to witness first hand all the different elements that go into producing professional photo’s. The idea of modelling live was also quite a controversial idea, but LW ensured that the shoot was classy, safe, and fun for all.
What was it like to be a part of it and what aspect of it did you enjoy the most?
Cath C: It was an awesome opportunity. I loved the challenge of working in front of a bigger crowd and being the only heavily tattooed model. Representing the beauty of ink and daring to stand out.
Nadine: The part when I was in front of the camera. Oh and the drinking!
Michelle: Initially I was quite nervous, however when the camera flashes started going off, and people in the audience were cheering and motivating you (definitely the aspect I enjoyed the most), it felt like a normal shoot, if not better!
Would you do it again?
Cath C: Yes. Working with LW magazine is always a pleasure.
Nadine: I’m game.
Michelle: Yes.
Do you have an suggestions for our next Live Model Shoot party?
Cath C: The next one? *Gets out calendar* Maybe a sponsor to dress the models and showcase their lingerie.
Nadine: Basement party. With the same kind of setup Locally Whipped did for the 2012 calendar shoot, or a rooftop party with JHB lights!
Michelle: I suggest setting up a few different settings within the club and allow for the models to be shot in a different location corresponding with each outfit change.
What type of party would be considered your ultimate?
Cath C: A beach party with a resident tattoo artist tattooing on site.
Nadine: A massive beach party with tunes pumping for miles. White sand. Clear blue sea. Bikinis. Cocktails.
Michelle: I really enjoy day party’s – H2O, Holi-One, Joburg Day, etc.
Give us a 10 word sentence that best describes you?
Cath C: SA’s next best female tattoo model that totally kicks ass? [laughs].
Nadine: That is hard when you put me on the spot. (count that….)
Michelle: Bubbly blonde, believing life is too short to be #AnythingButHappy!
What advice would you give to a guy that is too nervous to approach you?
Cath C: 2 words… “Don’t be”. The worst a person can say is no. If a person is unnecessarily rude if you approach them, they are definitely not someone you want to know anyway.
Nadine: You should be nervous! Dynamite comes in small packages!
Michelle: Come talk to me as if I were one of your closest friends. Say what’s on your mind and don’t try change yourself to impress. If all else fails, just greet with me with a smile. A sexy genuine smile is my absolute kryptonite!.
Your sexiest experience?
Cath C: Feeling more comfortable in my own skin as I’m growing up. That’s the single sexiest thing a woman can pull off.
Nadine: I don’t tell my secrets.
Michelle: I did mention in my previous interview with LW Mag that I like showering… That’s all I will say [wink].
