Explain the personality of Courtney in 5 words?
True, unique, energetic, funny and creative.

You’re fairly new to the modelling scene. What attracted you to it and what would you like to get out of it?
I’ve always been intrigued with the art of capturing a moment in a photograph. Whether I’m behind or in front of the camera I’m excited to take part in creating something beautiful…and I kinda like getting dressed up [laughs].

What did you think of your shoot with Hotlens Photographic?
My shoot with Hotlens photographic was a new experience for me. When I was feeling awkward, nervous and shy Terry and Neil made me feel confident and beautiful.

Tell us a bit about your career in make-up and how you got into it?
I’ve always been a fan of horror movies and fantasy movies and being able to create that kind of stuff myself with make-up and special effects. It transports me to a whole new world. It’s exciting for me. I’ve also always taken pride in how I look and I am a perfectionist so I had to know all the tricks of the trade on how to make a woman (or a man) even more beautiful.

What type of make-up work do you enjoy doing the most, and why?
I enjoy the special effects part of it most because it’s always new, always interesting and always a challenge.

When doing make-up for a model shoot, is it easier to do your own or to do it on a model?
Well in all honesty it depends on what kind of make-up I’d be doing. But it is always a challenge doing make up on a model because you have to make them like how they look, the photographer must be happy and I have to be happy with it.

Where would you like to see this career take you?
I would love for this career to take off because it is something I enjoy doing and have a passion for. Hopefully in the near future I won’t only be working for South African movies.

If you could do the make-up for any 2 celebrities, who would it be and for what event would it be?
Lady gaga – she’s always doing something crazy and interesting for any kind of event.
Chris Hemsworth – I would do anything to touch that gorgeous face (and body) especially if it were for a movie.

What one thing gets your adrenaline pumping no matter how many times you experience it?
Love. Whether it’s family, friends or a lover. If I love you, I love you to the fullest. I am most passionate with the people I love. No matter what situation, love gets my adrenaline pumping more than anything.

When it comes to the male physique, what are your turn ons and turn offs?
Turn on – gorgeous eyes, gorgeous smile, great bum and a sexy muscular back!
Turn offs – nasty toes and a hairy back/ backside!

If guys could be girls for a day, what do you think they would get up to?
Study their female anatomy…

Leave us with some words of inspiration for the rest of the week?
Do what you feel is right and what makes you happy and if it doesn’t turn out that way try the next thing. But never let yourself feel that you cannot accomplish anything and everything you want to accomplish in your life. As long as you’re enjoying doing what you’re doing at the time you’re not making any mistakes.
