How long have you been modelling for and how did you get into it?
I did my first photo shoot during April in 2014 with Manic Creations, from there on I did a few more photo shoots, got sponsored by a new upcoming supplement brand and did a few music videos. I then decided to get into the fitness scene. So I guess you could say around a year and I am still loving it.

What do you recall your first ever shoot being like?
It was so much fun. I once saw a quote that said it would be a shame for a woman to get old and not know what she is capable of. Nothing can make you feel more beautiful and stunning than a great photo shoot, dressing up and having fun.

How did that compare to this recent shoot with Manic Creations?
Since my first shoot with Manic Creations to the most recent shoot, I have got a lot more experience and I’ve learned a lot. But I will say that both shoots were really successful. I did enjoy shooting on the beach more than in a studio, but hey, who doesn’t love the beach?

What’s your secret to keeping your body in such good shape?
Hard work and dedication. There really is no secret to it.

What are your pet peeves when it comes to training and eating clean?
Getting up early before work to go train and not being able to eat my favourite chocolate. I am definitely not a morning person and I’m a self-diagnosed chocoholic.

What does a day in the life of Janine consist of?
Well I get up early in the mornings to go train then get ready for work. A lot of you might think that auditors are boring, but I can assure you we are definitely not. I get to see plenty of different places and people and we’re hardly in the office. When I get back home and watch some of my favourite series. On weekends I try to do as little as possible and spend time with my Boyfriend.

If you could walk into your dream job today, what would it be and why?
To be a famous movie star/model or become a fitness pro. I really enjoy modelling and fitness so would love to combine the two and make a life out of it.

What type of guy grabs you attention?
A self-assured well-mannered and successful man. There is nothing more attractive than a confident man that respects women. If he goes to the gym, that helps too. But I already have a man that fits all of the above so he keeps my attention.

Do you think girls chit chat about the opposite sex can be just as descriptive and nitty-gritty as guys chit chat?
To be honest I have never been one for chit-chat or gossiping with the girls. If you like someone or something go for it, don’t sit around and just talk about it.

What do women really want?
A woman just wants to be treated right. To feel wanted and respected by the man in her life. If a man treats her like a princess she will always be happy, confident and feel loved.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, how will you be spoiling your guy?
That’s my secret, cannot give away the surprise before Valentine ’s Day.

What’s next for Janine?
I am planning on competing again later this year and focus more on my fitness career. I enjoy it a lot and it’s very rewarding.
