I am lucky enough to get surprised monthly by my amazing boyfriend and taken to beautiful places for memorable dates, but in general a good date consists of 1.) good company 2.) a comfortable environment and 3.) something special and unique to remember it with.
Would you ever ask a guy out or do you still think okes should make the first move?
Never! Call me traditional but men are men and women are women. We all have certain duties – men are naturally the hunters, women are nurturers and in my books going against the grain of nature is just odd and will lead to an “awkward turtle moment.”
How would you get yourself out of a date that was going really badly?
I may have once or twice silenced my phone and faked an emergency call or have my friend on standby to call if she receives a blank message from me.
What are you hoping to get for your birthday this year?
More dog food!! ! Last year I had my birthday party at Movida and instead of presents, I asked my friends to donate food/money to Ark Animal Centre. I love animals and for me to have the opportunity to benefit the needy on my special day is the best present I could have received. Nothing beats a dog’s wagging tail!
Sex toys – yay or nay?
Yay, Sexpo isn’t so popular for no reason.
What’s your drink of choice on a night out?
Cosmo or double Amarula on crushed ice.
What are three skills you think a guy should have?
Manners (it is a skill for most guys), be a good driver and be responsible.
What’s been the most fun you’ve had this year thus far?
I did my scuba diving course a few weeks ago and went to Sodwana for my first dive….was the most incredible thing I have ever done!
Adrenaline preference – speed or height?
Height. I love the Grand Prix, but in reality I don’t actually enjoy speeding. Gives me that horrible feeling in the belly button.
