It has been 2 years since South African band Wrestlerish released their sophomore album, now they have just released their new single, Battle Ground that is the first single off their new album which is set to release at the end of September. Listen to the new single right here, right now:
Recorded earlier this year at Anti Motion Studios for the bands yet to be released 3rd album and writer by front man, Werner Olckers. From the beginning the band knew that the single contained something special and had single potential and then decided to settle on it as the 1st official single.
Wrestlerish has also done away with the original folk/ acoustic feel and have expanded their sound with a more rhythmic feel. Battle Ground also features Candice Armitage on vocals which allowed a stronger melodic approach and freedom with the songwriting.
The 3rd album will be called Greater Good and Lesser Evils and will be released through Sony South Africa.
