The seventh stop of the 2019 UCI Downhill MTB World Cup took place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland over the weekend. The shorter track left riders with no room for error and produced an incredible weekend of racing.
In the Men’s division Laurie Greenland put down a fast time, that would see hime finish in 6th, and set the pace to beat. Amaury Pierron took to the course, a man possessed, with a flawless run finishing in a time of 2:49.442 to take the win. Title rival, Loic Bruni crossed the line in 2:50.822 to finish in 3rd. The title will come down to the last round in Snowshoe, USA in beginning September.
