The Vans Surf Pro Classic is taking place at YoYo’s in Lambert’s Bay, Bloubergstrand this weekend, 14 – 15 May, and introduces a new venue to the World Surf League Qualifying Series.

The event will feature the cream of the country’s surfers with a QS1,000 rated men’s event and QS1,000 junior event.
R30 000 is up for grabs for the men as well as priceless WSL QS points. The juniors will be competing for R20 000 and points towards the selection of the WSL Africa squad, who will represent at the WSL World Junior champs.
The points will also count towards the 2016 WSL Africa regional championship titles, which are currently held by Dylan Lightfoot and David van Zyl.
