Thousands Entertained by Monster Jam SA Madness

Over the last few weeks Monster Jam visited South Africa for the first time with their three-city tour, and it was more than well received by local fans. Around 140 000 fans attended to witness the madness, with the Johannesburg event seeing the largest audience to ever attend an international Monster Jam event.

Durban – 34 000 fans
Cape Town – 41 000 fans
Johannesburg – 65 000 fans

Eight of the world’s most famous Monster trucks – Grave Digger, Max-D, Monster Energy, Gas Monkey Garage, Megalodon, Zombie, El Toro Loco and Monster Mutt Dalmatian – put on an unforgettable show. To witness these trucks smash through the Monster Jam course with ease, taking to the air, Backflipping, Donutting, to the sound of their seriously loud revving engines echoing through the stadium was a true spectacle.
