The 2012 Cable Tour Stop 1, brought to you by Hyperlite is taking place on the 3rd of March at Base 3 Leisure Lakes in Midrand. The 1st stop will see all competitive cable riders competing for their points standing on the 2012 Tour. Supported by Hyperlite, Base 3, Red Bull and Do it Now Magazine, this event once again promises to be full of surprises. This season will see all riders battling it out for the various titles.
CASA recently launched their Learn 2 Ride (L2R) programme, a development programme aimed at getting previously disadvantaged individuals into the sport, and their first member, Bryanna Motepe, will be competing in the ladies division. She is a name to watch out for in the future of the sport, having placed 2nd at the Pro Wakeboard Tour Stop 1 held on the 4th of February against seasoned boat competitors.
This is definitely an awesome day out so get down to Base 3 LeisureLlakes on the 3rd of March. Gates open at 9am till late and entry fee is R20.00 for the day. Food, beverages and Hyperlite gear will be on sale.
