This weekend and for the first time, Mahikeng will play host to the Supadrift Series national drifting series. The 28th September will see the 7th and penultimate round of the series take place in the parking lot of the Mmabatho Stadium where SA’s top drifters will gather to compete.
The likes of Jason Webb, Wade van Zummeren, Otto Graven and Paolo Gouviea are set to thrill the crowds as they compete for top honors amongst the 30 expected drivers to compete.
This year’s series is the first time an SA national drifting championship has taken place in South Africa and endorsed by Motorsport South Africa with the winner being crowned SA’s first national drift champion. This has got the drifters amped to scores as many points as possible to leading into the final round which will take place in Durban in November.
