Travis Pastrana wrote the Freestyle Motocross record books when he landed the first ever Double Backflip on a dirt bike at the 2006 X Games. Now Josh Sheehan will go bigger, attempting the most dangerous trick in the history of Action Sports, the world’s first ever Triple Backflip. The date has been set for the 28th April 2015.
The attempt will take place at Pastranaland and will be weather dependant, so a 5 day window of opportunity has been given. Josh will have to reash a speed of 55 MPH (88.5 KPH) as he travels up the massive 37 Foot (11.2 Meter) take off ramp. Sheehan is expected to reach an insane height of 80 Feet (24 Meters) and will land on a 60 Foot (18 Meter) tall dirt landing.
