Steven Michelsen recently hooked up with Durban’s goofy footed surfer Chris Frolich to film and put together this awesome surfing edit. Steven sent us this message to tell us how the edit came about.
“2 weeks ago I got a email from Chris Frolich asking to shoot a short online clip. I had no clue who he was or what he was about. He hoped on a plane after winning the Queensland Open event (the same event that Parko, Fanning and Dingo have won) and headed straight to Cape Town. I had heard of bits a pieces about Chris via the boys but never at any point did I know how solid he surfed. For a goofy footer from Durban he is most likely is our best hope with his right foot forward. All I can say is that he might be the most humble and nicest “Pro Surfer” I have ever met. The 4 days we spent to put this video together were blasted with every variable possible – wind, rain, mist and on top of it all it was pretty much flat. This is what we managed to pull off”.
