Nico Vink revived one of his first big jump lines at Royal Hills in the South of France for Royal Fest 2018. He not only built an amazing MTB line, he has also sculpted a completely separate and equally amazing Moto line.
The top of the MTB line offers multiple choices enabling riders to start together and have fun on the over/under lines in the forest before lining up for the big hits at the bottom. The shark fin was the most daunting, and after claiming two frames and an air-shock it was dubbed “Jaws”.
Huge tricks went down on the bottom jumps with standouts being a Backflip No-Hander from Conor Macfarlane and a massive Frontflip from Adolf Silva.

The Moto course was insane with it’s unique style, lots of hips and two shark fins – more like a BMX trails style course. Featuring 11 hits in the line, most were overshadowed by the huge shark fin and step up. Once riders were comfortable with the line, the whips and turndowns came out.
