Red Bull Rampage 2016

The 2016 instalment of Red Bull Rampage produced one of the most exciting contests to date, with riders putting down insane runs in difficult windy conditions. Riders had difficulty making it down from top to bottom during practice and when it came to competition time, the first three riders managed to get down safe and clean.

Brandon Semenuk stomped a perfect first run that saw him hold onto the lead till the end to take his second Rampage victory, eight years after his first win.

Antoine Bizet delayed his first run due to heavy winds, it paid off and resulted in sensational run finished off with a huge Double Backflip, a first for Rampage, to claim 2nd place.

Completing the podium was Carson Storch who had smooth and stylish runs including 360 step-downs. Storch also scored the Best Trick award.

Graham Agassiz was on from and looking at a big score until he took a hard crash resulting in a broken pelvis. Thomas Genon and Kyle Strait looked good to topple Semenuk in their second runs but it fell apart with bad landings near the end with the finish line in site. Cameron Zink also suffered a big crash but quickly jumped to his feet into the arms of his wife and daughter who were nearby.
