Murray Loubser, from Gansbaai in the Western Cape, will be participating in the tournament post injury and expressed his excitement:
“I’m feeling pretty good coming out of this injury. I’ve been building back muscle and doing all the rehab I can but I’m definitely not back to where I was before in terms of strength. However, I’m so excited to see all the boys and to ride. It will be my first time seeing them all together in a while so yeah I’m excited, it’s going to be fun!”
The Park Lines BMX tournament will be showcasing athletes from all around South Africa, who will be competing in the Pro Division, and will also afford upcoming riders the opportunity to compete in the Amateur Division. The tournament will finish off with the Best Trick competition open to all competing riders.
