You have a very interesting name. Tell us about it and where it originates from?
Jadwiga is of polish descent and means refuge in war and battle. My father is Polish. Jadwiga was the name of the first Queen that reigned Poland. Queens regnant being relatively uncommon in the 1300’s Europe at the time, Jadwiga was officially crowned a king.
What are some of the crazy pronunciations of your name that you’ve heard and what did you do to correct the person?
Craziest, was Jaswillie. I am patient when correcting people of my name, as I understand it is a very unusual and have found that it helps when I spell it out or write it down for them.
What is your take on the recent elections and the final outcome?
I am happy that the DA is still the ruling party in the Western Province.
In your opinion, what needs to change to make for a better South Africa?
People need to work together and stop blaming other people and the government for everything and start taking action and responsibility for themselves.
Living in Cape Town, what are your joys of the city?
Having unlimited options of activities to do, and it’s a beautiful city.
What does your average day consist of?
5:00-7:00am 1st Training session, usually consist of Cardio, Ab and Calves Exercises.
7:30-8:30am Make Breakfast and get ready for day’s activities.
9:00am-5:00pm Prepare food, eat my 6 meals throughout the day, assist clients online on my Just Move Fit Life Online Coaching Business with feedback, nutrition and exercise programs, questions they might have, etc. Amino Meat – send Invoices and arrange for collection of client orders of meat. Marketing on Social Media for my businesses, market myself on Social Media in order to get more sponsors onboard.
5:00pm-7:00pm 2nd Training Session usually includes weight training.
7:30-9:30pm Eat and chill with hubby. Now in winter, our favourite is watching a DVD’s in front of the fireplace or just chilling on the couch and reading a book.
You are into your fitness and training quite heavily. Tell us about your passion for it and how often do you work out?
My passion for fitness started out with my own body transformation which I went through where I lost 8kg and 15 % Body Fat. I inspired many people with my results and then I adopted the healthy and fit lifestyle and now I’m helping others achieve their fitness goals through online personal training that I offer to clients. I work out twice a day, 6 times a week.
What’s your trick to waking up early during the winter months to go out and train?
Ooh I struggle hey. Especially in Cape Town because it’s not only cold but it often rains. What helps is that my husband gets up with me to go train and then I just think of my goals, competitions and photoshoots I have lined up and this get’s me out of bed, eventually!
What motivation would you give to someone looking to get into the fitness side of life?
Just start by doing something, making a small change in your diet or start by becoming active. Just this can make a huge difference already. If you don’t know what to do then ask someone that has gone through the process themselves.
What are your pet peeves while in the gym?
When my fellow gym goers use weight machine benches as chairs and park themselves for extended periods of time chatting with their friends, texting on their phone or staring off into space.
Have you ever used your extremely good looks to get yourself out of a sticky situation?
Yes. I convinced a traffic cop not to fine me with a speeding ticket. Just smile, be very friendly and compliment him on his good hair or something of the sort. Worked for me.
We noticed you have some tattoo work done on your left upper thigh. What was the experience of getting tattooed like for you and are you going to get more work done?
I have feathers tattooed on my upper thigh. I was 21 years old when I got my tattoo and I decided on the feathers because it has the meaning of freedom, heightened awareness, light heartedness, enlightenment, prayer, divinity, and progress. I had to bare the pain but I will go through the process again and would like to get more tattoos. I’m just not sure what exactly what at this stage.
What part of your body do you think guys find the most attractive?
I am not sure about other men because I have been out of the dating scene for more than 8 years now, but I do know that my husband finds my legs and abs very attractive.
When you’re in the mood to spoil your man, what do you do and in what outfit?
I’ll make my husband a candle light dinner and be dressed in nothing else but an apron.
Finish these sentences:
“You know I’m ready for a night on the town when…”
I have done allot of crazy partying in my life and being a health and fitness fanatic, this does not seem to be my vibe any more.
“My drink of choice would be…”
Tab or water and only with off season a glass of red wine over the weekends.
“My temperature rises when…”
I see my husband training his potential whilst in the gym. Seeing his arms getting pumped up when doing bicep curls. I love big and muscular arms.
“Girl on girl action is…”
not my scene.
“The mile high club…”
I’m not part of it but it’s good to keep things interesting in a marriage, so we might become members here soon [laughs].
