Likes: Art, poetry, theatre, music festivals, trance music, traveling, adventures to McDonald’s at 4am, horror movies and Krispy Kreme.

Dislikes: Negative people that kill my vibe. Please go away.

Special talents: Making people feel very uncomfortable, being awkward, oh and accents. I can do nearly any.

You have quite the successful acting career. How did it all start?
It all started in 2011 when a friend of mine came down from the US to shoot a music video and asked me to be in it. Originally I was just supposed to be an extra but ended up being the leading lady. I’ve done acting before, high school plays and what not but nothing compared to that moment, it became a passion very quickly. Honestly felt like this is what I was made to do so in 2012 I went on to study drama and speech, and graduated late 2014.

What have been some of the highlights of your career thus far?
So so many! But mostly having the pleasure and opportunity to work with people I grew up watching on TV and now I’m along side them staring in a movie or a show. So crazy, like Sean-Cameron Michael, Brandon Auret, Leleti Khumulo, Deon Lotz, Lee-Roy Write, just to name a few. Even working with directors such as Christopher-Lee dos Santos and Sallas de Jager was an absolute “Wow” moment for me. Such an honour and blessing to just walk straight out of university onto sets graced by such respected talent in the industry.

Give us a list of movies/ shows that you have starred in?
TV series: Ayeye (season 1).
Movies: The jakes are missing, Free State, Last Broken Darkness and Alexia.

What upcoming movies/ shows can we look forward to seeing you in?
There are a few, but for now I can only tell you about one. Working on an exciting film at the moment titled “American Mule” it’s about an ambitious young women who is dedicated to move up in the ranks of a dangerous drug trade and with the help of her tough and deadly handler they move in to take over the South African drug trade. Directed by Khalid El-Jelailati.

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera acting?
It’s rather hard to explain, basically if anything is running through my mind while in character it would be the characters thoughts, living in that moment and if anything else pops into mind, well then I stop acting. Truth be told, acting is not about you. It’s about the character. So you have to be able to put personal thoughts away.

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera posing sexily, as for this feature?
[Laughs] Well in real life I’m rather awkward and constantly making jokes, as you at LW know. I basically become a character, I think about what the word sexy actually means to me and express that.

What are some of the weirdest things you’ve been requested to act out?
Luckily I haven’t been in the position of doing much things I find weird, but wait, there was this one time I got to be a character who plays twister in a bikini, twister is dangerous enough with clothing on. Doing it in a bikini is just begging for something to go wrong or pop out.

How would you sum up your experience of shooting with us for this feature?
Loads of fun was had. Great vibe and people, beautiful art and lots of water.

Which scene did you feel the sexiest in?
That’s a hard one. I’m gonna have to say the one where I had red lipstick, I mean what woman doesn’t feel sexy with red lipstick?

In your opinion, what brings out the sex appeal in a photo shoot?
Being comfortable in your own skin. Nothing is sexier than confidence. Oh, and red lipstick [laughs].

For any guy wanting to get to know you, what would the best approach be?
Talk about art, poetry, acting or music. Deep conversations get me interested not the standard pick-up line or compliment. Or make me laugh.

And, what is a big no no from you side?
Arrogance! I simply cannot stand people that think they poo ice-cream.

What’s your sure fire way to seal the deal with a guy?
By the guy just being himself and if it’s good enough, nature will take its course.
