Give us a quick run down of who Nixx Milner is and what drives her to be that person?
To be quite blunt, I’m quite the stubborn bitch. Once my mind is made up, it’s my way or the highway. You know that thing called ‘resting bitch face’, well I’m known for that and have been told I’m intimidating. I’m actually just a quiet person that likes to observe instead of drawing attention. Being stubborn can have its positives and negatives. I can be selfish, but I’m also very determined and loyal. If I want something, I make it happen and never make false promises.

You’re a Cape Town local, what are the pros and cons of living in the mother city?
I absolutely love Cape Town and have always said I could never leave this place. For one, it’s beautiful, two; we have such a variety of people, cultures, things to do, sceneries and best of all, parties. Unfortunately we do have quite a bit of crime and poverty, but what city doesn’t? The only thing I could really complain about is the wind, it’s so damn windy sometimes.

You have some amazing tattoo work. Which was your first piece and how old were you when you got it?
I got my first tattoo when I was 18 years old, something I deliberately waited for. It’s a quote on my right shoulder, which was translated into French by my grandfather.

How much more work do you plan on getting?
I can’t say how many more I will get because I love ink, but I do have a few places on my body which are off bounds. Them being my feet, butt, mid stomach, hands, chest, neck and face. I feel like these places on a woman are too pretty and sacred to cover up.

Do you favour a specific artist or are you collecting from various artists?
I have 5 tattoos now and plan on collecting from numerous artists over time. But yes, I prefer certain styles.

We’ve noticed that more girls are heavily tattooed in Cape Town than any other city in SA. Why do you think that is?
That’s the other great thing about Cape Town, people aren’t scared to be different. In fact, it’s ‘cool’ to be unique. Having your own style, which includes fashion, hairstyles, tattoos, beards, etc. – all make you stand out and be special.

You are feature with a BMX bike in your shoot. What is your connection to the sport?
I can barely ride a BMX. I was just being a poser with my boyfriend’s bike. I find them extremely uncomfortable and actually struggled to even sit on the thing in the photo shoot.

What Action Sports are you a fan of?
From the age of 13 I’ve always dated the ‘skater boy’ and therefor I always ended up going to events and competitions. Because of it I formed an interest for sports such as skating, BMXing and motocross. But don’t get me wrong, I don’t desire to do them myself. I just find them exciting.

You run your own business as well as study. Tell us about that and how you manage your time between the both?
Considering I run the nail business from home, it is actually quite easy and convenient. I go to college in the morning and then I do nails in the afternoons and evenings. Being your own boss is rad.

What is your 5-year plan?
I finish my course at the end of 2017 and then I plan on traveling. I don’t know where to, or for how long, but I have the strongest urge and desire to see the world.

What does your ultimate fantasy consist of?
I want to say something sexy but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of fantasy is pizza. I’m a pizza freak.

If you could choose any 4 famous people to join you in this fantasy, who would they be and why?
I would dig to eat pizza with G-eazy, Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum and James Franco. Guys are fun and there’s nothing like the ultimate eye candy.

Any advice for guys who’d like to hook up with a belter such as yourself?
Confidence is key, but you also need to be a gentleman.

What things, when it comes to opposite sex, do it for you?
Tattoos, cleanliness, nice teeth and old-school manners.
