The beautiful Nika Badenhorst graces our pages as this week’s LW Babe of the Week, one of South Africa’s sexiest babes! Unfortunately for us Nika will be leaving SA soon to start her life in another country, we chat to her about that and more in this feature. We would like to wish Nika all the best for the future, South Africa is going to be losing a piece of beauty when she leaves.

Tell us about you shoot with Sean F Photo and the feel you were trying to capture?
Sean is incredibly fun to work with. For me that is the most important thing, getting the shots you want whilst still having fun and being silly, poor Sean probably had about 10 photos of me pulling faces that could make a small child cry [laughs]. We were going for a very fresh, natural feel in the photos, and Sean’s distinct sexy style crept in to the shots with ease.

What do you think gives a model her sex appeal in her photos?
Eyes. A woman may not have a perfect body, but a woman’s true sex appeal comes from inside of her and radiates through her eyes. You either have it or you don’t.

How long have you been in the modelling game and what attracts you to it?
I am fairly new in the game and only properly started getting into it about a year ago. I love the diversity of it, every shoot is different, exciting and challenges a new side of you, you never get bored!

We’ve heard that you’re planning on leaving sunny South Africa to start a life in another country. Please say it’s not true but if it is give us the details and why you made the decision?
All true. I am leaving South Africa at the end of February to move to Dubai. I feel like I have been gifted an opportunity to expand myself as a person, that I would be stupid not to take. I am excited to experience new people, a new environment, new food and new challenges whilst still remaining true to my South African roots, it would take a lot to get the barefoot boerewors bokke-loving boeremeisie out of me!

How often will you be coming back to visit?
About every 3 months or so.

What are you most excited about for this life changing move?
Born and bred in Gauteng, I am excited to live at the coast and have a go at improving my surfing skills [laughs].

Will you be carrying on with your modelling career over there?
Definitely, the opportunities are endless and I plan on expanding my portfolio. My studies will come first however and I will try my best to balance the two.

What 5 things are you going to miss most about South Africa?
Watching rugby games on a Saturday with biltong and a great braai.

Moving on, what type of guy does it for Nika? We want details?
An old school guy, with old school morals that still knows how to break the rules [winks]. Ambitious, adventurous and lives a healthy lifestyle. Also, he needs to smell good [laughs]. I love it when my boyfriend breaks out his Lacoste!

If you were a guy, what type of girl would do it for you?
There is nothing more attractive than a woman that knows how to take care of herself. A girl needs to be silly, sexy and confident.

What are some of the weird things you have seen other people do in their cars while in traffic? Do you do anything weird?
The weirdest thing I have seen people do is the #TrafficSelfie, seriously, what is up with that? [laughs]. I regularly have mini car raves fully equipped with fist pumping and ear-splitting attempts at singing.

If you were ever caught doing the deed, how would you react?
Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave.
