Welcome back to the pages of LW Mag. What’s been going on in the life of Kerry-Lee since we last featured you on 2016?
Thank you so much for having me back, always a pleasure with this team. I’ve been working on my own brand as an individual and doing quite a bit of traveling and working with great brands on campaigns. etc.

What was one of the most unexpected things to happen in your life since then?
I always thought I knew who I was and I like to believe I did to a point, but I didn’t expect to come into my own and feel the confidence and growth that I have. I didn’t expect to feel as proud as I do without feeling guilty about it.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I’m quite gangster. I love Hip Hop and it’s something you’ll hear playing at full volume if you drove past me.

In what film would you be the leading lady, any why?
It would be a dancing movie with a lot of humor in the script. I love to dance, music makes me happy and who doesn’t like to watch a good movie with great moves and sense of humour . So basically Step Up, but Kerry’s version.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Lemon Meringue would definitely be a guilty pleasure of mine.

Who was your childhood crush?
Channing Tatum, it hasn’t changed much [laughs].

What was the last thing you Googled?
Things to do in Mykonos because I’m planning on going in June .

What do you like to do to keep in shape?
I love to dance and do regular gym sessions.

What goes through your mind when you are posing in front of the camera?
Depending on what I’m wearing or shooting for but most of the time I’m thinking about the position of my body, it’s crucial that it’s in sync and flows.

Knowing what you know now, what advise would you give models trying to establish themselves?
Always have good manners and don’t think you’re better than anyone. Down the line the person you may have been rude to, could be the make or break of an important job. Respect, respect, respect.

You are one of the newest additions to the local Monster Energy Girl line-up. What are the perks of being a Monster girl?
Yes I am. I get to work with amazing people that add fun and good memories to my life, and the travel opportunities.

What goals have you set for yourself for 2019?
To grow my brand more and to be successful on a level that I can be the most proud of. I’m getting there but I’m not there yet, I’m excited for it.
