Give us a quick introduction to Kera?
Just as my handle suggests (Curious Kera) I’m super curious, particularly about people, places and how they interact and mingle.

What does a day in your life usually consist of?
Besides studying, I’m always looking for something to do. Whether it’s collaborating with other people or companies or sorting out my life at home trying to find multiple ways to improve my living space.

What drives you?
I’m driven by I guess my natural confidence and my background involving art and design. I enjoy recreating and that motivates me.

Given the opportunity to travel to your dream holiday destination, where would you go and why?
I’d love to go to Greece again, although I’ve been before – I’d love to explore the night life and entertainment. I’m super intrigued by other people’s way of life and their culture. Greece was beyond special in terms of the atmosphere and that’s why I’d like to go back.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert?
Although confident, I find myself in a lot of introverted situations and so I feel I’m a combination of the two.

If you could have chosen to grow up in any city, which would it have been and why?
Moving to Stellenbosch really changed my life, I had the opportunity to explore Cape Town. I’m very drawn to the lifestyle here and so if I could have, I would have loved to experience Cape Town not so much from an outsider perspective.

What advise would you give your 15 year old self?
Don’t focus on pleasing people. Stay true to yourself and try learn as much about what you enjoy and what lightens your soul up.

What does 2020 have in store for you?
2020 is the year I finish my degree, so it’s got a lot of work and effort involved. Also, with that being said, finding my feet for where I aim to fit into the real world will also be somewhat challenging. Hopefully many doors open that guide me to where I am meant to be in the future.

How would you best sum up shooting with Epix Shoots for this feature?
Artsy photographer who is a problem solver and solution seeker! Made me super comfortable and shot very creatively.

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera?
Not much to be 100% honest, I zone out a bit and just focus on what look I’m trying to create or recreate or what look the photographer is wanting for his portfolio.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
Traveling, with a dream job of opening a restaurant in Cape Town. Having a back up living space in an open and spacious environment that helps me declutter the stress of everyday life.

When it comes to guys, what type grabs your attention and why?
@nicostopforth– from being the most beautiful person inside and out and for always supporting me. He loves me for my flaws and respects me not only as a girlfriend but as a friend!
