What does a day in the life of Jessica consist of?
120% of my day I spend at work, other than that I’m either tattooing, drawing, creating and drinking wine.
Which part of your body do you feel is the sexiest and why?
Definitely my legs, because they’re a good pair [laughs].
What was it like shooting with Sean Flow and what are your thoughts of the final photos from the shoot?
Sean is the nicest guy and such a pleasure to work with. I love the few we have, it was a hectic morning for us so we were pressed for time but they came out brilliant.
Which photos is your favourite?
My side-boob photo because, side-boob. I don’t really like posed photos.
If you had to compare yourself to any celebrity, who’s profile do you think would suit yours best?
I’m not really a follower of celebrities unless social media queens count but I’m quite a stalker of Marilyn Monroe. I think I would best fit her profile because she was her own individual and that’s what I strive for. I want to be the first me you have ever met, I don’t want to remind you of someone.
You have some amazing tattoo work. Which was your first and what do your tattoos mean to you?
I was 17 when I got my first tattoo on my ribs, what a spot for a first tattoo [laughs], purely because I love art and everything that goes with it. It’s an amazing form of expression, and who else tells a better story about your life then your body? My tattoos have the most insane, deep as they come, meanings. Every single thing that has touched me in life I have tattooed somewhere and they are far too long to explain each here.
How would you best explain the pain of getting tattooed, and how do you deal with it?
I’m such a baby when it comes to the pain, I won’t lie, but the best way to deal is to keep talking to your artist about useless information about your day. If it really hurts just keep quiet, close your eyes and go to that happy place.
Have you got plans of getting sleeves?
Most definitely. My legs are in a slow process of getting sleeved. I’m building a sleeve with bits and pieces, instead of getting a solid big piece. My arms will follow as soon as my legs are done.
Who is your preferred artist or do you collect from various artists?
I have two artists that I switch between because of travelling. My one artist, Wikus from Insomnia Art, recently moved so now I will be going back to my original artist who has done most of my ink, Rudy from Inkoholics.
When it comes to the opposite sex, what’s your kryptonite?
Mature guys, older guys. I like men who know where they are going and why, a good face never hurt anyone either.
What’s your idea of a good time?
Good company, better wine and fighting with the Uber driver [laughs].
What does our ultimate fantasy consist of, we want the nitty gritty?
A bedroom full of gadgets with a dash of rainy weather.
How would you sum up your 2015 and what are you looking forward to in 2016?
2015 summed up definitely comes down to, lesson learned. I’m looking forward to even more growth in 2016, and some more ink.
What are you hoping to be doing at midnight on the 31st December?
Hopefully I will be outside somewhere, looking at the skies and wondering what time it is [laughs].
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:
Belter? A sexy tall dude that always says that to me.
Good pain? Sex.
Turn off? Feet and anything about feet.
Turn on? Rain, cuddles and bubble baths.
Sex toys? Where?
Skimpy outfits? Maid outfit.
Bucket list? A sad movie about old guys.
Nightmare? Bugs.
