Special talents: I’m a pretty talented cook and I can even braai. Growing up with no man in the house, the Warman girls had to learn to fend for themselves.

What was the first thing that went through your mind when we asked to feature you as an LW Babe?
Um… Me? A babe of the week? Seriously flattered.

What’s your trick to keeping confident in front of the camera?
I’m still very new to the whole “being in front of the camera” thing. I just try to be true to myself and my personality. No acting or pretending because I want to be perceived as a real person.

What does a girl like you like to do for fun?
I enjoy anything fitness related. I love going for early morning walks on the Umhlanga promenade or taking a trip to Ballito on weekends to go spend time on the beaches up there or trying out new restaurant’s/ café’s with my mom and boyfriend. It always makes me feel like I’m on holiday. I also enjoy taking Hot Sculpt yoga classes at Tree Natural Concept and enjoying one of their healthy dishes afterwards with my fitness family. I’m not really a fan of the party scene, I prefer to spend quality time with family and friends either over dinner at a nice restaurant or around the braai with a glass of red wine.

Durban, Summer, Matric Rage, the Festive Season. What are you looking forward to most?
Matric Rage… Wow that was a long time ago [laughs]. The thing I am most looking forward to is a little bit of down time and some time off work. It’s been a long, hectic year and I can’t wait to have a 2 week break where I can relax and spend loads of time on the beach.

What have been some of your lowlight and highlights of 2015?
It’s been an emotional roller-coaster of a year, actually 2 years. Those closest to me know the lowlights and we will leave it there. My ultimate highlight of this year was becoming an aunty to the most beautiful little boy, Riley Adam Edkins – thanks to my big sister!
Another pretty epic moment was representing KZN at the SA Bodybuilding Championships in the U160m fitness bikini line up. I finished 4th overall at my first SA’s in my first year of competing and needless to say I was over the moon. My moment on stage after I was called out for making the top 6 was one of the happiest moments of my life. I had sacrificed a lot and I had a very rough diet prep to get me there but that moment on stage and that feeling made it all worth it. Also having my boyfriend in the crowd and being able to celebrate with him when I walked off stage was the finishing touch of a perfect first SA’s experience… bring on 2016!

What’s on your Christmas wish-list?
Ahhh it’s just really to be with my family…and maybe a new pair of Nike trainers.

How do you see yourself going into 2016?
I feel like 2016 is going to be my year. I am feeling really positive and excited about the prospects that the New Year has in store, Arnold Classic 2016, work opportunities and a best friend’s wedding in Feb.

Give us the nitty-gritty when it comes to the opposite sex and what your attractions are?
I like a man with fit athlete build. A man who has good manners, is honest and has respect for themselves as well as their friends and family. You can be the next Channing Tatum but if you have an ugly heart then cheers buddy.

What type of pick-up lines work on you?
Do guys still use those? Come on!

What do you expect on the first date?
I don’t eat seafood so don’t try impressing me with Sushi. I’m a real South African Bokkie so take me out for a nice piece of steak and a glass of red wine and I’m sold. Sundowners at the Oyster Box, Lighthouse Bar is also always a win.
