Loosefest 2017 – Jump Line Madness

Loosefest 2017 was a crazy week with amazing high’s and a few scary moments, but all in all the best week of riding anyone can imagine. Nico Vink stepped up his Fest Series course featuring the biggest jump line known to the MTB world.

Riders didn’t waste time getting familiar and then sideways on the top 3 jumps. Tom Isted was the first rider to build up the courage to test the new, massive hip jump at the end of the line. The hip had he most airtime of any jump on course with riders flying for over two seconds, and it wasn’t long before they started tricking it.

Remy Morton unfortunately had a massive crash on his first attempt of the hip jump, going way too far and nose heavy. He is stable and in good hands. All the boys are sending him the best wishes for a smooth recovery.

With word of lots of rain forecast for Sunday, Saturday was the last opportunity to session the beasts, resulting in the most insane session of the week. With everyone comfortable through the line, it was a jump fest of note. Tom Isted was flipping the second hit almost every run, Bas van Steenbergen threw big stylish whips both ways and Sam Reynolds put down the sickest turn-ups on the third hit. Tyler Bereman was also sending it with the boys with his trademark style and ended the event with a huge 1 footed whip over the big MX jump.

Fans were treated to an amazing day of riding, good vibes and watching the world’s best send it.
