Great safety. This, and more, is what you can expect from the Leatt Moto 2.5 Helmet, the brand’s “entry level” offering. Having recently taken the helmet through its paces, we bring you our thoughts in our review feature below…
For an entry level, this helmet is packed full of features, a bargain buy for sure! When unboxing the 2.5 we were taken back at how light-weight the helmet is, something not often found in these class of helmets. Look and feel is of a premium nature and the fit admirable.
Our only con, if we could even call it that, comes from the 2.5’s comfort. The padding around the ears felt slightly uncomfortable, nothing a bit of shuffling and repositioning doesn’t fix though. The helmet was a pleasure to ride with, has ample space for wide-view goggles, looks the part, and is confidence inspiring.
Like its premier counterpart models, the 3.5, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 – the 2.5 also features Leatt’s 360 ̊ turbine technology, reducing rotational acceleration to the head and brain and the absorption of energy upon impact at concussion level.
Without a doubt, the Leatt 2.5 is one of the best value for money helmets on the market, and a highly recommended option for new and up-and-coming riders, as well as the average weekend warrior rider.
