The production, like never-before-seen in South Africa, pitted the riders against each other in the Best Whip and Best Trick contests. Belgium’s Julien Vanstippen, the current X Games Best Whip gold medalist, took a podium sweep by winning Best Whip, Best Trick Up-Side-Down, and placed 2nd in Best Trick Right-Side-Up. Local hero, Dallan Goldman beat Vanstippen for gold in Best Trick Right-Side-Up.
