Kimberley Diamond Cup Midway Mayhem

We’re 6 months away from South Africa’s biggest international skateboarding event, the Kimberley Diamond Cup. To kick off the KDC events that will be taking place across the country leading up to the main event with R50 000 prize purses and slots into the Am KDC finals, the Midway Mayhem was held at the Kimberley Diamond Cup plaza on Saturday 8th March.

Hundreds of skaters gathered in the Kimberley heat to compete and check out the insane skating action in the various divisions; Amateur Vert, Rider Cup, Women’s Street and Am Street. The bar was set high in each division with skates pushing each other all contest long. The Midway Mayhem was one epic event and if it’s anything to go by, the rest of the KDC contests are going to top class.

3rd Yann Horowitz – Score: 90.8, Winning: R4000

1st Get It – Score: 69.0, Winning: R10000
