The 2015 Midway Mayhem skate contest hits Kimberly this weekend, 18 April, at the Kumba Skate Plaza. A Grand Slam event where SA’s top skaters will be able to qualify for the 2015 Kimberley Diamond Cup Skateboarding world championship in October this year.
The event will also feature the Skateboarding for Hope Tour stop which features skate clinics for the underprivileged youth in the region. Midway Mayhem will feature 5 categories – 13 and Under, 14 and Over, Women’s Street, Vert and the Riders Cup team contest.
Registration takes place at 9am followed by the clinics, then SFH qualifiers and finals in all categories. Prize giving is set to take place at 6:15pm. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to catch South Africa’s best skaters in action.
