Jasper Dan release A Southern Fling

Saturday night, 12 November, saw the launch event for Jasper Dan’s debut album, A Southern Fling, take place at Rumours Lounge. Party goers were treated to a night of live performances by a host of local bands, and parties the night away in true Rock n Roll fashion.

The line-up included The Sinners, Zephyr Heirs – Cunning Stunts, State Society, LINDO M, Kyle September, Dirty Moonshine, Gunslinger ZA and of course Jasper Dan (in no particular order). Shout-out to Jack Daniels for providing shooters throughout the night, as well as to all the partners involved in making the launch the success it was.

Although a fairly new band, Jasper Dan have cemented their name in the South African music scene. They opened for Iron Maiden earlier this year, which brought on a lot of controversy and criticism but they pushed that aside and continued to follow their passion to make music. With a host of successful performances under their belt and now the release of their album, there is no doubt that they are here to stay.
