Classic conditions have blessed the Hurley SA Junior Surfing Champs that are taking place at the Lower Point in Jeffreys Bay. This first two days of competition are in the books which have been filled with fiercely contested heats.

We’re into day 3 of the competition as the juniors fight their way through the qualifying rounds. Some standout performances came from the likes of Matt McGillivray on Day 1 who is the U15 champ and is now a force to be reckoned with in the U17 boys division. On Day 2, 11 year old supergrom, Kai Woolf was the stand out surfer by posting a huge score in her heat of 17.0 out of 20.
