The picturesque and barreling waves of Jeffreys Bay will play host to this year’s Hurley SA Junior Surfing Champs that will see the country’s top young surfers compete for the individual and team titles.
Taking place from the 25th – 29th September and will feature the best 17 and under surfers who have qualified to compete in this prestigious event.
Last year, hosts Eastern Province took the team win for the first time as well as won 3 of the 6 individual titles in the Under 17, Under 15 and Under 13 divisions. They also won 3 of the 5 special awards that were on offer.
This year teams from KZN Central, Western Province, Border, Southern KZN, Zululand, Boland, Southern Cape and the South African Development Academy will be competing for the Freedom Cup and the individual titles.
