Check out a lap with Gareth Swanepoel at the opening round of the AMA Outdoor Motocross Series 2012 at the Hangtown track. Gareth took a 15th in the first and second moto taking a 14th overall for the day. It is still a long season ahead and we wish Gareth the best of luck and look forward to seeing him on the podium soon.
Some unfortunate news from the Opening round though, was that our other SA rider Tayla Rattray who was racing in the 450 class standing in for the injured Ryan Villopoto suffered a broken hand in the first moto due to a rock hitting him from the roost. It looks like Tayla might be out for the rest of the season which we’re hoping not because he really stands a good chance in the 450 class. We wish him a speedy recovery!
