Introducing the redesigned Fox Comp Motocross Boot – taking crucial elements from their top-shelf Instinct boot and simplifying them into a more affordable package. The Comp Boot will make you rethink entry-level boots.

Taking the opportunity to put these boots to the test, we were pleasantly surprised. On receiving the boots we were a little worried about ankle support, but the new internal lace system, which you pull and lock to tighten, gives a precise fit around that critical heel pull area.

With emphasis on fit, coverage and rider control, within a few laps we were completely comfortable riding with the boots and smashing out laps without a worry – not even when it came to dabbing a foot down or the harder landings.

The buckle system is attractive and supportive with the lower buckle taken from the Instinct and the two upper buckles bring ActiveLock straps that provide the perfect balance between flexibility, support and ease of use. The rubber guards on the side of the boot increase grip on the bike. Another stand-out feature for us is the rubber outsole with an internal steel shank that gave exceptional grip, feel and support on the footpegs.
