Fiery Tammy Potgieter

When we locked our eyes on the fiery redhead, Tammy Potgieter we knew instantly that we had to feature her as our LW Babe of the Week. Who wouldn’t want to take some ogling over that awesome hair and the sexy body that comes along with it? Also get to know Tammy in her interview below.

Tell us about that awesome red hair of yours, it must attract a lot of attention?
Yes it has attracted quite a bit of attention, especially with togs – they love it. I had always wanted to go red and thought 1.5 years ago “What the hell” and just did it. I have not looked back since. It’s definitely become a part of my signature. Recently I decided I felt like a change and literally burst into tears when it was gone. 3 weeks later I was back to red.

Something else that undoubtedly attracts a lot of attention is your smoking hot body. How do you keep in such good shape?
I was actually quite overweight a year ago and always had a dreamed of doing a bikini fitness show so that’s exactly what I did. A healthy diet and weight training does wonders for a woman’s body. Ladies lift them weights!

You recently participated in the Rossi Classic & Grand Prix show, how was that experience for you leading up to, at and after the event?
It was extremely challenging leading up to the comps as I was on a very strict diet and training regime, but worth every bit of sacrifice once I stood on that stage. The feeling is indescribable. The tears shed after walking past the spur one day were soon forgotten. The friendships made back stage are something I always treasure, everyone is very supportive and it feels like one big family. After the event I was in heaven as chocolate was my staple diet for the next 24hrs. I usually give myself a breather after comp and live a little.

Now that you’re taking a break from the fitness contests, what’s next for Tammy?
I am currently focusing on completing my personal training diploma and concentrating on other aspects of my life such as my business and travel.

What did you think of your shoot with us at the unique location we shot at?
Absolutely mind blowing. I felt as if we were in a gypsy wonderland and although the hay in the barn was incredibly prickly, I had a blast and the team was also very friendly.

What goes through your mind when you’re posing in front of the camera?
In all honesty, I only starting working on shoots a few months ago so I would still regard myself as a baby model, so I usually think “damn, I hope I’m doing this right…”.

Give us an idea of what type of guy and personality does it for you?
I love a man who is humble, funny, honest and down to earth. What puts me off is arrogance, I can’t stand an arrogant man.

If you had to take us out on a date, what would it entail?
Hmmm, I’d definitely have to say summing that gets the heart rate up. Maybe sandboarding or four wheeling.

Any exciting plans for the winter season?
Snuggling with the BF as much as possible.

In your opinion, what’s the best way to heat things up on a cold night with your man?
Sitting in front of the fireplace with a bottle of good wine sounds about right.

What are the top 5 things on your list of favourite things to do?
Travel.
Have good food and drinks with friends and family.
Driving…fast.
Gym.
And, shopping of course.

What does a day in the life of Tammy consist of?
I am not a morning person so if I don’t have an early appointment I sleep in a bit. I usually do my marketing etc on social networks, meet potential clients, gym and eat all day.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Teasing? My BF.

Tempting? Anything sweet.

Good vibes? Good mates.

Lingerie? I think the BF needs to buy me more of that.

Late nights? Epic nights.

Adrenaline? Driving fast.
