Element Make It Count South Africa Results

The first Element Make It Count Skateboarding contest in South Africa took place in Cape Town recently. Strong winds and rain, due to a cold front moving in over the city, didn’t stop a killer event from taking place with some impressive skating.

The Valhalla Skate Park was the stomping ground for the event. One of the parks built by the local government in the underprivileged areas giving kids the opportunity to get off the street and get into something positive like skateboarding. Around 300 people from the local community came out to support the event and made for an even better vibe.

Shout out to Element for being the first brand to hold an event at this park which saw around 80 skaters rock up to compete in this once in a lifetime contest. The level of skating was insane in the jam session format contest with the overall winner receiving a fully paid trip to compete in the global finals. A close battle was fought but in the end it was Dlamini Dlamini who edged out Khule Ngubane and Anton Roux for the Win. Congrats Dlamini.
