The Element Make It Count international skate contest consists of a series of amateur skateboarding events held all over the world and for the first time it will be taking place in South Africa this year. Designed to seek out new talent and at the same time promote the Element message of environmental stewardship, social awareness and positivity.
Rather than a cash prize, the winner will be rewarded with an experience of a lifetime – a trip to the global finals at The Berrics and Element YMCA Skate Camp – all expenses paid. The winner will join fellow winners from around the world in California and have the chance to compete for Element sponsorship.
Element Make It Count South Africa Details:
Date: 24th and 25th May 2014
Venue: Valhalla Skate Park, Cape Town
Entry fee: 1 x canned food item or an old deck
Age divisions: 13 & Under – 14 & Up/Sponsored
Saturday 24 May: Registration at 9am, Qualifying at 10am
Sunday 25 May: Finals at 10am
Free food will be supplied for all contestants
