From 9 to 11 December The Garden Route Trail Park will see the return on Monster Energy’s Dawn of the Dirt. Featuring a Fun Enduro, Pump Track Challenge, Whip Off and an MTB/ BMX Dirt Jump Comp. This promised to be an awesome weekend packed with nonstop bike action and good times, at one of the country’s best bike parks.
Enduro riders will have the chance to session GRTP’s miles of manicured single track that wind down the mountain sides with berms, rollers and jumps all the way down. The cSixx “Raduro” will be open to riders of all skill levels.
The Whip Off is a new addition to Dawn of the Dirt and will have its own separate line/ jump for the boys to throw down and get their bikes as sideways and flat as possible.
The crowd favourite. The MTB/ BMX Dirt Jump contest will see riders contest on both the intermediate line and the newly built bigger line. The bigger line will give riders more airtime resulting in bigger tricks.
