DarkFEST 2019 Week 2 Build Update

The DarkFEST crew have been very busy on the mountain over the past week and have given the entire course a refresh. Some new and exciting features have been added into the Freeride MTB course and fans are et to be in for a real treat!
Check in with DBNC News as they give us a low-down from the build site.

The main new feature is the massive trick jump at the bottom of the course. During testing, riders were getting so much speed on the run-in that they decided raid the landing a few meters and make the lip taller and steeper.

The rest of the course has had a few minor tweaks and is looking burnished with the trademark Nico Vink and Clemens Kaudela perfection. Nico spent some quality time with the “twisty wizard”, between the big 100 footer and the hip, and made it even more twisty. The Step-Up has been made taller with the landing slightly hipped to the right to set up for the drop that will set riders up for the trick jump perfectly.

As of next week all the riders start arriving and we’re looking forward to seeing their reaction to the new and revamped course, and of course witness the first hits. It is going to be insane.
