Buck Tour 2014 Review and Results

The 14th annual Buck Tour presented by Volcom took place at Skatelab Skate Park in George over the weekend of the 4th – 6th July and saw some top notch skating. Joined by the Skateboarding for Hope Tour which added more hype to the event with more on the line for the winners.

In the Under 16 division it Quinton Mooiman who reigned victorious ahead of Tyler Kammies in 2nd and Bradley Williams in 3rd.

The Over 17 division was stacked with some of the country’s best skates competing. Khulu Dlamini, Jean-marc Johannes, Shuaib Philander, Khule Ngubane and Alan Marola were just a handful competing for the Buck Tour title and the wildcard entry into the Kimberley Diamond Cup finals later this year. In the end it was Khule Ngubane who was untouchable and walked away with the title, wildcard entry. Khule’s Nollie Bigspin Late Front Foot Flip over the hip also earned him the Best Trick award. Alan Marola followed in 2nd with Jean-marc Johannes in 3rd.
