This past weekend, Hakahana Trails in Hartbeespoort played host to the 2nd Round of the Bike Market Gauteng Enduro MTB Series. Riders were treated to 5 technical, well marked and fun stages, all consisting of rock, jump and pedal sections.
Starting at 8:30am, riders made their way out into the mountains with the option of staring on either stage 1 or 2 before moving onto the final 3 stages. Clean runs and fitness were key in this round of the series and saw Junior rider, Keira Duncan come out on top with a blistering time of 14:39. He was followed by Elite riders, Wade Prinsloo with a time of 15:03 and Hilton Frost with a time of 15:19.
We’re looking forward to what’s in store for the final round of the series – Bike Market Gauteng Enduro #3 taking place on 17 September.
