Tattoo Artist, Ryan Busta Boltoon is excited to announce the Bat Outta Hell Tour, taking place from 10 March to 1 June at various Tattoo Shops around the country. The goal of the tour is Awareness. Ryan’s travels across SA are in an effort to raise awareness for Bat Conservation, the Tattoo Industry and the Arts.
The “Battoo” standard bat tattoo design will be available and can be changed up to suit your style. The design will be passed on to the tattoo artists that Ryan works with throughout the tour. The minimum charge for the tattoo will be R600 with 50% of the moneys going to charity and the rest to the shop/ artist. The final cost (depending on size and changes, etc.) will be at the shop/ artist’s discretion. You also have the option of donating to the charity without having to get the tattoo.
Shops will be given the bat design line-work, which they’ll be using to create sketches, paintings and any artworks of their choice. These artworks will be on exhibition at the “End of Tour” exhibition held at Carfax in Newtown, JHB on the 4th June. There will also be a limited amount of homes for bats (bat boxes) for artists to work on and customise for the exhibition. Limited edition posters and t-shirts will also be on sale. All artwork will be auctioned off on the night with portions going to the charity and to the artists.
Follow the tour on the Bat Outta Hell Tour Facebook Page.
If you would like to make a donation to this awesome cause, here are the banking details. At the end of the tour all money raised will be given to the chosen bat conservation charities.
