Controversial rapper on the rise, Angie Oeh, released her debut EP, Sex in Afrikaans, in May this year painting the local music scene with a fresh brush and getting noticed. Angie’s biggest inspiration is a woman’s body and has described the EP as “an ode to women, to titties, and most of all, to dance.” Although her music may sound demeaning to some, her only intention is to normalize girls singing about girls and to get everyone on the dancefloor.
Watch her new music video for Sex in Afrikaans, set in a warehouse in Woodstock, Cape Town, the video is all “open space, cars, bikes, booty’s, smoke and Jägermeister. Overall, just nice sh*t!” as Angie describes it.
