The third stop of the 2023 Crankworx Slopestyle MTB World Tour took place in Innsbruck, Austria over the weekend. Emil Johansson officially broke Brandon Semenuk’s record by winning his 12th Crankworx Slopestyle gold medal, as well as secured his third Triple Crown of Slopestyle, and pulled out two world-firsts in his run.
Lucas Huppert and Torquato Testa both put down impressive runs first time out with their scores of 85 and 83.25 behind the best score of 92.50 that Johansson had racked up.
During the second runs, Max Fredriksson (82.12), Paul Couderc (79) and Timothé Bringer (80.87) rose up the results board before Dawid Godziek put down a brilliant 95.25 on the back of combos like a Cashroll Tuck No-Hander, a Cashroll Barspin, and a Cashroll Tailwhip on the final jump to overtake Johansson’s first score.

Emil Johansson was forced to pull out all the stops to take the win. He put together an historic, impeccable run that included an Opposite 360 Windshield Wiper and an Opposite 360 Unturndown to regular Double Downwhip to score 97.25.
